'Flyer. The New Poster' was initiated when VeenmanDrukkers asked StudioSpass to design a poster of the subject 'Economic Crisis'. StudioSpass came up with the concept of taking the economic crisis directly into the world of design. The Studio was inspired by the typical 'cliché' manner in which many designers like to document their posters. This was the starting point for putting out their statement.

As an economic crisis develops, many companies have to cut their budgets. In many cases visual communication is one of the first victims. Eventually this leads to smaller budgets for poster campaigns. And smaller budgets lead to smaller posters. This resulted in their statement:

'Flyer. The New Poster'

For this project StudioSpass' made a flyer instead of a poster and presented it like a genuine poster. This website flyerthenewposter.com showcases StudioSpass most recent flyers as posters.
